Services and Staffing:
This Core provides DNA sequencing, protein sequencing, oligonucleotide synthesis, peptide synthesis, DNA microarray, Real Time PCR and some information services to members of the Center for Reproductive Biology. A state of the art core laboratory with all the required equipment is available.

Services:
DNA sequencing: DNA sequence samples will be analyzed on either an ABI 377 or ABI3100 with sequence reads up to 700 bases. Price: $3.00 per sample for CRB members. DNA sequencing: For this rate the user must perform the sequencing reaction and cleanup in their own laboratory. The Core will perform the sequencing reaction and cleanup for $15.00 per sample with no bulk discount rate.
 
DNA Microarray: Affymetrix Gene Chips vary in cost please call for details

DNA synthesis:
 prices: $1.00/base + $6.00 set up fee. 0.2 micromole scale

Protein Sequencing:
prices: $10.00/ cycle + $40.00 set up fee
